With the optional Power Thrust design, you get an even more powerful, world-renowned Honda four-stroke motor, offering 60% more reverse thrust and 15% more forward thrust.
Portable Power comes with PGM Ignition, where a reliable microprocessor precisely manages ignition timing from start-up through the entire RPM range for optimal performance. The Shallow Water Drive feature lets you tilt the motor for smooth operation in shallow spots, reducing the risk of damage. Power Tilt makes it easy to lift the unit from the water and doubles as a low-speed shallow-water-drive device.
For heavy loads, the BFP models with a 10" x 7 5/8" 4-blade Power Thrust prop boost maneuverability and performance. Reverse Exhaust Relief minimizes cavitation by running the prop in clean, exhaust-free water. An Engine Alert System protects against low oil, overheating, and over-revving, while Honda’s corrosion protection ensures your engine stays in top shape.
